Dialogue sessions between herders, farmers, and orchard owners began in the outskirts of Rahid El-Berdi, South Darfur.

Women’s Peacebuilding Committee, in partnership with CDPO, organized two dialogue sessions between herders, farmers, and orchard owners on September 1 and 2, 2025, in the Duwana and Fundog areas in Rahid El-Berdi, South Darfur. The sessions aimed to reduce conflict between herders and farmers and establish mechanisms for resolving disputes between the two parties.

This is part of the Enhancing Opportunities for Women and Youth to Contribute to Peace and Security in South and East Darfur Project.
