On September 7, 2025, the Belail Women’s Initiative, in partnership with CDPO, organized a dialogue session between pastoralists and farmers in the Merair area in Balil Locality, South Darfur. The session was part of community dialogue sessions to promote peaceful coexistence and social cohesion in the administrative units (Balil Administrative Unit, Abgrajil Administrative Unit, Marla Administrative Unit, and Merair Administrative Unit) in Balil Locality.
This is part of a project to enhance opportunities for women and youth to contribute to security and peace in South and East Darfur.
