Opening of a Safe Space for Women in Rehaid Al-Berdi, South Darfur

Bashair al-Salam Women’s Initiative, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, inaugurated a safe space for women in Rehaid Al-Berdi South, Rehaid Al-Berdi locality, South Darfur State, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The space aims to provide greater protection for women by offering internet access and mitigating the harassment they may face in public internet networks. It also provides a safe space for women’s group activities and meetings in Rehaid Al-Berdi South.

This is part of the Enhancing Opportunities for Women and Youth to Contribute to Peace and Security in South and East Darfur Project.
