On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the Women’s Peace building Committee, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, concluded a series of field meetings that brought together nomads and local farmers in the areas of East valley, Sara and Seisban, and Barango, in the Gija area, northeast of Rehaid al-Berdi, in South Darfur, with the aim of promoting peace and social cohesion among the components of those areas.
This is part of a project to enhance opportunities for women and youth to contribute to peace and security in South and East Darfur.
