Opening of a safe space for women in Eed Al-Fursan locality, South Darfur

 Eed Al-Fursan Women’s Emergency Room, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, inaugurated a safe space for women in Eed Al-Fursan, South Darfur State, on September 14, 2025. The space aims to provide greater protection for women by offering internet access and mitigating the harassment they may face in public internet networks. It also provides a safe space for women’s group activities and meetings in Eed Al-Fursan.

This initiative is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to provide safe spaces for women within the project “Enhancing Opportunities for Women and Youth to Contribute to Security and Peace in South and East Darfur.”
