On December 9, 2025, the Abwab Al-Khair Women's Initiative, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, distributed maternity supplies to pregnant women and organized health awareness sessions for refugee women at the refugee camp in Bilel, South Darfur State The initiative targeted 168 pregnant and married women.
The items distributed included a plastic basin, a plastic bucket, a towel, a tarpaulin, laundry soap, bath soap, and Dettol soap. Distribution of maternity supplies to pregnant women in the refugee camp in Bilel locality
In addition, the initiative provided an educational and guidance lecture for pregnant women on the importance of regular medical follow-up during pregnancy, eating healthy foods and nutritional supplements, and paying attention to the complete health care of the fetus before and after birth.
This is part of the fourth phase of the project to mitigate the effects of war on those affected by the conflict in South and East Darfur.
