The Sons of North Nyala Initiative, in partnership with the Community Development for Progress Organization, implemented a project to maintain six water pumps in North Nyala.
On Saturday, December 27, 2025, one pump was maintained in the Shadida area and another in the Tanqalani area of the Yara Administrative Unit in the Mershing locality.
This was part of the fourth phase of the project to mitigate the effects of war on those affected by the conflict in South and East Darfur.
