On December 24, 2025, the Al-Sharaya Women’s Emergency Room, in partnership with the Community Development for Progress Organization, provided, installed and operated a solar power system for the abandoned Al-Sharaya water station in Bahr Al-Arab locality, East Darfur It includes thousands of displaced persons and returnees.
This is part of the fourth phase of the project to mitigate the effects of war on those affected by the conflict in South and East Darfur.
