Discussion sessions on the psychological effects of violence against women and combating violence against women were held in several areas of Al-Salam locality, South Darfur.

Violence against women has increased dramatically in several localities in South Darfur State, reaching the point of women being killed simply for carrying a mobile phone.
The Together to Prevent Violence initiative, in partnership with the Community Development for Progress Organization, held discussion sessions on the psychological effects of violence against women and on combating violence against women in the areas of Bulbul, Abu Jazu, Abu Ajoura, Al-Hilla Al-Hamira in Al-Salam locality, South Darfur State.
