AL-Dera AL-Akhdar Initiative, in partnership with the CDPO and with the support of Saferworld, has constructed 20 emergency latrines, 10 latrines in the Al-Neem and Laqawa camps for the displaced, and 10 latrines in the Al-Manar camp for IDPs in Al-Daien, the capital of East Darfur State, during the period from September 5 to 19, 2024, as part of the Alleviating the Effects of War on Conflict-affected people in Darfur, Phase II Project.
