Encouraging IDPs to the Agricultural Season in several villages in Ad Al Fursan Locality, South Darfur State

The Women’s Hope Initiative, in partnership with CDPO and with support from Saferworld, began activities on Friday, July 4, 2025, to encourage and assist IDPs to the agricultural season in several villages in Ad Al Fursan Locality, South Darfur State.

The initiative began in the Al Jereif and Ardeiba areas. The initiative included organizing agricultural guidance sessions and distributing 435 millet baskets to meet food needs and provide IDPs with seeds to prepare them for the agricultural season.

This is part of the Alleviating the Effects of War on Conflict-affected people in Darfur, Phase III Project.
