A shelter for patient companions and visitors was inaugurated at Nyala South Hospital, South Darfur

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, a shelter was inaugurated for patient companions at Nyala South Hospital, South Darfur. The shelter was implemented by the Nahda Youth Initiative in partnership with the CDPO and with support from Saferworld to alleviate overcrowding of companions and visitors in the hospital wards.

This is part of the Alleviating the Effects of War on Conflict-affected people in Darfur, Phase III Project.
