Community Dialogue Sessions Launched in Belail Locality, South Darfur

On August 28, 2025, community dialogue sessions were launched in Balil Locality, South Darfur, to promote social peace in the locality. The dialogue sessions include administrative units (Belail Administrative Unit, Abgrajil Administrative Unit, Marla Administrative Unit, and Mirair Administrative Unit), organized by the Belail Women’s Initiative in partnership with CDPO.

The initiative organized two dialogue sessions in the administrative unit of Belail and the administrative unit of Abgraji , in which a number of shepherds, farmers, traditional administrations, youth and women participated. The dialogue succeeded in establishing a mechanism for early warning and peaceful coexistence.

This is part of the Enhancing Opportunities for Women and Youth to Contribute to Peace and Security in South and East Darfur Project.
