The Peaceful Coexistence Forum concluded on August 28, 2025, in Gereida, South Darfur State. The forum brought together representatives of traditional administrations, local authorities, youth, and women from the Gereida, Tullus, and Al-Salam localities in South Darfur State, with their counterparts from Yassin, Asalaya, and Al-Fardous localities in East Darfur State. The aim was to reduce conflict between herders and farmers and promote peaceful coexistence among the participating communities. The forum was organized by the Durrat Al-Salam Association in partnership with CDPO. The forum produced several important recommendations for a stable agricultural season.
