Conclusion of Discussion Sessions on Resolution 1325 on Women and Peace

Vimedia Center, in partnership with the Solidarity Community Development Organization, organized a discussion on the innovative Resolution 1325, which was adopted on October 31, 2000. The discussion focused on women and solidarity, specifically on collaborating with women in peaceful liberation processes, integrating the Paulus approach into peacekeeping training, and ensuring women’s participation in incorporating gender perspectives. The two sessions were held in Nyala South and Nyala North, Nyala, South Darfur, from September 6 to 11, 2025. A number of female lawyers and activists in the field of protection participated in the sessions.

This initiative was part of a project to enhance women’s opportunities to contribute to security and peacekeeping forces in the South and East.
