Organizing a consultative meeting on peacebuilding and humanitarian aid in Nyala, South Darfur

The Sudanese Women's Development Organization (SOWDO) and the Community Development Organization (CDPO) organized a consultative meeting in Nyala from November 15th to 16th for a number of national organizations and initiatives working in peacebuilding and providing humanitarian aid in South Darfur State and its various localities. The meeting was attended by the executive management of SOWDO, Majid Hassan, and CDPO, Ghada Al-Imam.
The meeting included local coordinators from the Community Development Organization and more than 16 volunteers representing initiatives and groups from various localities across the state. The aim was to review the services they had previously provided. The meeting also addressed strengthening cooperation between organizations and initiatives in identifying needs, delivering services, promoting local peace, and enhancing the role of women in peacebuilding and empowerment.
