Installation of a solar power system in Nyala, South Darfur

Today, December 8, 2025, the Mobility Disability Union Initiative, in partnership with the Community Development Organization and with funding from Saferworld, installed a solar energy system for the mobility aids workshop for people with disabilities in Nyala, South Darfur, as part of the rehabilitation and revitalization of the workshop, which had stopped operating since the outbreak of the April 15 war.
This is part of a project to mitigate the effects of war on those affected by the conflict in South and East Darfur.
