Beginning of a workshop on reducing conflict between herders and farmers

A workshop on conflict reduction between herders and farmers in the localities of Bilel and Neiteqa in South Darfur State began yesterday at the Human Rights Knowledge Center at Nyala University. The workshop was organized by the Higher Coordination for Herders and Nomads in partnership with the Community Development Organization, with the aim of developing mechanisms to reduce conflict between the two parties.

The workshop was attended by a number of farmers and herders from Mellit, Bilel, and Neiteqa, the executive director of Neiteqa locality, a representative of the executive director of Bilel locality, and a number of local administrations from the two localities.
