On September 6, 2025, the Jad El Sayed Emergency Room, in partnership with CDPO, concluded social cohesion support sessions covering a number of villages surrounding the Jad El Sayed area in Abu Karinka locality, East Darfur State. These sessions led to the formation of a permanent mechanism to support peaceful coexistence, composed of representatives from the villages of the Jad El Sayed Administrative Unit.
This is part of the Enhancing Opportunities for Women and Youth to Contribute to Peace and Security in South and East Darfur Project.
