The Witness Center_Darfur24, in partnership with the Community Development for Progress Organization, presented the "Accelerating the Delivery of Peace Voices" project, training journalists, media professionals, and activists from localities in South Darfur State to enhance peace opportunities through early warning and news dissemination that contributes to consolidating social peace.






Together for Peaceful Coexistence Initiative in Rehaid Al-Berdi, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, conducted a three-day workshop on peacebuilding and peaceful coexistence, from September 28 to October 1, with funding amounting to (385,000) Sudanese pounds.







The United Women’s Movement Initiative, with the assistance of the Preparatory Committee for Tea Sellers in Nyala, and in partnership with the Community Development Organization and with the support of the Saveworld Organization, implemented 10 grassroots sessions for tea sellers in Nyala to nominate their representatives to the founding conference of the Tea Sellers Union in Nyala.
The first founding conference for tea sellers was held yesterday, Saturday, October 9, 2021, with the attendance and participation of more than 100 women who were promoted from the grassroots sessions. Ms. Haja Al-Sanousi was elected president of the Tea Sellers Union, along with 12 members of the executive committee, through a free and direct election. The total funding amounted to 422,500 Sudanese pounds.












The Women's Union Initiative, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, implemented three forums to advocate for women's issues in the Al-Jir and Dreij neighborhoods of Nyala and Kass in South Darfur State, from September 25 to October 2, with funding amounting to (356,500) Sudanese pounds.








The Trust Organization, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, conducted dialogues on reconciliation and recovery in the areas of Beli Sereif, Al-Malm, Kass, and Mirshing from September 23 to 30, with partial funding of (104,000) Sudanese pounds.




The Kifah Arts and Theater Troupe, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, performed three theatrical performances in Al-Mawashi market, the Al-Junaynah bus station, and the Zay Alwan market in Nyala. The performances, which carried messages of peaceful coexistence and acceptance of others, were funded with 263,000 Sudanese pounds and took place from September 25th to 29th.












Darfurna Al-Gamilla initiative, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, conducted four discussion sessions in the displaced persons camp in the Guraida and Tulus area of Majok and Al-Jabal neighborhood in Nyala, on peaceful coexistence and social justice as part of a project that includes theatrical performances, from September 25 to 28, with funding amounting to (420,000) Sudanese pounds.










Al-Rehaid Women's Cooperative Society, in partnership with the Community Development Organization, conducted three discussion sessions on the importance of women's participation in building a civil state in Al-Hamed Al-Rehaid area of Bilel locality, South Darfur State, from September 24 to 27, 2021. The sessions were funded by the Community Development Organization with a grant of 288,900 Sudanese pounds.
